Here is a fairy. She is a moon fairy. She likes to be THE BIGGEST BOOKWORM IN THE WORLD and she likes star stuff and a bunch of crap like that, the end.

Name: Selene
Age: 19
Birthday: Feburary 28th
Gender: Female
Blood Type: N/A
Height: 5'5"
Weight: idk average weight? Beats me.

Game/Series: Panel De Pon (Puzzle League series)
Grade: Senior
Student Dorm: THIS SHALL BE EDITED WHEN SHE HAS HOUSING.
Extracurricular activities: Whores the library. BD

Personality:
Selene, seeming to be (yet possibly not) one of the eldest fairies apart from the Queen of the Fairies herself, feels as if she's the 'big sister' of the various little sprites living in the lands around and about their land of Popples. She doesn't exactly see herself as a 'leader', for she more or less views the group of fairies as equals more than anything, with their Queen being leader. Rather, instead of trying to see herself as above the entire bunch tries (she wouldn't want to sound so self-absorbed), she attempts to be more of their 'protector', willing to stand by and defend her loved ones to her dying day, whether or not she does so with great success. She at least has peace in knowing that she has tried her best, and that's just about all she can do.

Along with the above facts, although she herself modestly does not think so, she seems to be at least one of the better sources of wisdom of the fairies. She certainly isn't a genius and doesn't even nearly know everything, but being so enveloped in books and learning throughout her lifetime, she has her fair share of knowledge and logic that she would be willing to instill on her fellow friends (with all helpful intention, of course). More than anything, she wouldn't really be considered HIGHLY intelligent, but merely more above average in smarts and more logical in thinking through things. She's more than willing to be the voice of reason, the voice of enlightenment to help direct others toward a path down a life with a strong mind in their heads and a kind heart. As overly-pure as it sounds, it's very true that she wouldn't want anyone to wind up ill-fated to a depressing, enraging, or otherwise negative life.

When it comes to her personality, one would probably describe it as 'friendly and gentle with a possible nugget of wisdom or aid hidden beneath'. However, she's not always just a pretty face when the moment comes to show why she wants to be the protector of the fairies and her friends. If you've provoked her or anyone she knows, she can turn on the defensive and attempt to turn the tides on her opponent. She isn't one to frequently get angry at anyone, nor will you ever see her enraged and yelling, yet on the same token, she knows when to unleash a moderately firm, perhaps even somewhat bitter tongue. That, and an unhappy smack over the head with her Star Stick if fighting is needed, of course.

Hey, if you want to defend, you've got to be able to do so. She knows that all too well.

If there is anything she truly isn't as modest about, it's her fighting ability. She's not the very best when it comes to fighting at all, but she'd like to think that because of her position as a protector of her friends and those around her, it puts her on a more mature state of mind. Although she usually doesn't mean it (and is actually modest about most things), she can sometimes come off as a bit prideful of her willingness to fight if it's needed when she's defensive. Her mun had to add this to her personality because she found out about it in a DEEPLY SUPER HIDDEN part of the game at the last minute. :|

Relations with Other Characters:
Rosalina: Looks up to her as a teacher and also a friend and fellow stargazer. She totally wants to do ~space nerdy~ things with her and maybe even have library times with her sometimes. Future BFF? idk maybe~

Olimar: Sees him as pretty intelligent and quite a guy to have an engaging conversation with. He's stricken up an interest in space travel in her.

Anshu: Totally surprised to know that there are creatures other than humans that can be... well, human-like. Anshu's no exception, especially since she pretty much let her know of that (telling her she's a Pokemon and all). She does want to get to know her more, that's for sure.

Will update more when she meets more people!

Backstory:
Once upon a time, in the magical fairy land of Popples, there lived fairies of all sorts of elements and powers. From the Fairy of Jewels to the Fairy of Fire, the land had it all. They had all lived properously in their world with many a friend amongst them all. No two fairies were exactly alike in a sense, and yet peace was always of existence for them. No fairy could love a place more than one would love Popples, for all you know.

The Fairy of the Moon is the one fairy to live farthest out in the land, the Moonland Isle in the Sky being her home. At least in the Moon Fairy's tradition, the Fairy of the Moon is destined to marry and have children, or simply have at least one on her own to pass the Fairy of the Moon's bloodline to a new little sprite. This was, of course, true of the previous Fairy of the Moon, Swarna (meaning 'good color' or 'golden', as gold as the Star Stick passed down by the moon fairies), whom had reached her 20s and wound up having a child with, yet not marrying, a man about her age.

This child was named Selene, the name directly meaning 'moon', an all-too-suiting name for a fairy of that element.

Selene grew up, at first, a very excitable young child. She wanted to go out and play, dance, and have fun with the other fairies, but alas, her mother wouldn't allow her. Although her father was not going to live within Popples with them (he had only lived there with Swarna and Selene for the first year after Selene's birth, and then left to go to his homeland far away), he seemed all too enthusiastic of the idea of having his little Selene study from her childhood instead of going out and getting filthy. He believed it would be more beneficial for her and a great learning experience that not too many children are granted with. Her mother found that to be a lovely idea, for she, too, wanted her child to grow up with a good head on her shoulders, and she found that strict instruction and plenty of reading would help her in the long run.

Selene was granted one day, on her 5th birthday, a gift box containing plenty of... educational books. At first, she turned her nose up to them. She wanted stuff to play with outside, for she disliked being locked up in the house and being unable to frolick around freely with others. However, her mother eventually convinced her that reading books was a more fun experience that having to stay out and go to places in the blistering hot sun. She explained that for moon fairies, the sun wasn't the best thing to be out in. However, after describing ideas and some time to think, she decided that she could let Selene out to play for a very short time each day... but only at night when the moon is high in the air.

Finally, Selene agreed, and got to work on reading more. She started off with simple books, small and easy enough for a kindergartener (as in, a girl around her age at least) to understand. The first year, she only sorta enjoyed reading, not really understanding yet what exactly her mother saw in the concept. The second year, when she turned 6, she wound up receiving more books, those of which got her a bit more interested. On the fourth year of her reading, when she turned 8, she received some more advanced stuff for a child to read, and she found it more exciting than she thought it would be to learn all of these bigger things. On the seventh year of her reading, when she turned 11, she started getting so into reading that she no longer wanted to go outside apart from visiting her fairy friends, and instead of asking for outdoor activity for her birthday, she asked for more books. More books, more and more and MORE books.

Finally, Selene turned 16, and it was about then that Swarna had decided to completely pass over her Fairy of the Moon title to her daughter. She handed over her Star Stick to her young daughter and advised her well on taking care of her homeland... while she was gone.

Of course, Selene's heart sunk. Her mother was going to be gone? She wasn't dying, wasn't she?

Thankfully, she wasn't! She was merely leaving to go and finally marry the man she had her little Selene with, and live outside of Popples so Selene could take over her duties and be the head Fairy of the Moon. Swarna's leaving was, to Selene, bittersweet. She was definitely going to miss her, no doubt about it, but... she was going to be the Fairy of the Moon! THE Fairy of the Moon! How could she not want to take up that duty and responsibility?

Thus, she and her mother decided to go traveling for a year outside of Popples, around to numerous places with only some of the best libraries, of course! Their last stop was at the home of Selene's father. She unfortunately didn't learn much of him until now, seeing as he only lived with her for the first year of her young life, but it was now that she could meet him and finally know his name: Sirius, after a bright star in the constellation Canis Major. This made her sadness over her mother leaving home clear up some, especially now she could finally keep in contact with her mother AND her father from afar with letters.

Selene left and headed home to the Moonland in Popples, and remained there since. Everything had been peaceful... for a time.

That was until the Demon King, Thanatos, had attacked the land, however. He had caused torrential rainfall in Popples, brought monsters to life to invade the land, and had turned Selene and most of the other fairies evil with his dark magic. Because of the spell he casted on her, she had no recollection of what happened except for remembering the dark magic from Thanatos' strength affecting her mind and making her body tremble... before she 'passed out'. Technically, however, she never blacked out, but rather, her mind changed to that of a sinister woman, and thus, the pure part of her soul that held her memory was locked away. For that, she didn't remember anything that happened while Thanatos had turned her evil, and this included when Lip, the Fairy of Flowers (who was unaffected from Thanatos' magic due to her magic stick), confronted and fought her to free her.

Selene was free now! The spell was lifted thanks to Lip and her strength. Although she remembered what happened, she didn't remember anything she did while under the Demon King's clutches. It didn't matter to her now, though, for she was free and her Payapaya who lived in the land were all unharmed. She decided to accompany Lip to travel to Death Mountain and defeat the monsters roaming their once-tranquil land, and aid in the defeat of Thanatos. The group of fairies, from the Fairy of Wind, Windy, all the way down to Selene herself, encountered two horrendous beasts on the way to fight Thanatos: Phoenix, a giant bird, and Dragon, the... well, dragon. They managed to defeat them! Awesome.

They weren't done yet, though. After their defeat, they trailed down the path and wound up meeting up with the evildoer who had supposedly caused this whole mess: Thanatos. He was certainly strong and had quite a bit of might, but he was no match for the strong little fairies, especially young Lip! He was quickly defeated, left to dissipate into nothing as if he were an illusion. No decay, no body left over, nothing. Just as if he were an illusion and never even was real!
It was just then that, when they thought it was over, a stream of golden hearts rained down on them all. It was then that a beautiful, blonde woman had made her appearance, introducing herself as the goddess, Cordelia. She wouldn't allow the fairies to leave Death Mountain alive, and thus, had to be fought. It was an amazing battle, for she was even more powerful than Thanatos himself! That's what you'd expect out of a goddess, right? Right-o, but she was still not strong enough to handle the group of fairies. She was, too, defeated, and had seemingly disappeared from the world forever.'

All of the fairies then left Death Mountain and reached their now cleared and peaceful world, just when the striking blonde from before, none other than Cordelia, had reappeared. When Lip questioned whether or not she still wanted to fight them, Cordelia took on a new and very familiar form. This was her true form, and her true form was that of... the Queen of Popples?! Now why was THAT?!

The Queen soon explained, however, the truth of what happened. She herself created Thanatos and all of those nasty creatures to test the fairies to see if they would be fit enough to govern the new world for the next generation. She especially did so to test Lip, the Fairy of Flowers, for she wanted to appoint her daughter to be the next queen in the line. She, indeed, wound up deciding that Lip, young Princess Lip, will definitely be the next Queen of Popples one day. She was determined strong enough to be the fairies' leader for the next generation!

It was then that the land was given a new period of peace and tranquility. Selene resumed her duties as the Fairy of the Moon, living in her home to study, enjoy life, and take care of the Payapaya. About 5 months after she turned 19, she was informed through her books of a city called Final Destination City, one that she believe she might have heard about before. She questioned the Queen about this city, and wound up finding out from her and the other fairies that Lip went to that very school. Selene's eyes opened up to the amount of opportunity that could spring from there. She could learn so much in that school! That, and she could wind up living there for the time being and possibly even take up teaching there one day.

After some time to make her decision, she decided to leave the Moonland to the Payapaya and head for this school.

Canon Information:
Selene is the fairy of the moon who, according to the official site, sees herself as the head protector of the fairies. She has Payapaya where she lives and blablabla events of Panel De Pon here. That's... honestly it. :D;

Other Information:

  • She is a bookwoooooorm. She'll read anything, really! Books are pretty much her niche. Her favorite type of writing would be nonfiction of any kind, and her favorite genre being either of informative writing or romance novels.
  • She also loves astrology and such things. Hey, she's the Fairy of the Moon, what else would you expect? |D
  • She can be a little motherly to younger children at times despite not really... being a mother lol. That may or may not include some of the younger/younger-at-mind fairies back home, too.
  • Her hair is pretty long and huge. Also, waaaaavy. She doesn't... really use any hair care products on it, though, she just let it grow out and uses stuff from back home (specialized combs and natural minerals? idk) to make it healthy and pretty. :3 The moon jewel on her forehead can be detached and isn't at all natural. She doesn't like taking it off, though, for she thinks it just... looks really pretty. As for her tiara, she's not royal at all to be deserving of one in that sense. She just likes tiaras and crowns lol. Her SBG design is here!
  • Basic info! Her birthday is on February 28th. Her height is 5'5", not really too tall or too short. I dunno how to accurately determine weight, but I'll say that she's not really pencil-thin skinny, but she's not big at all either. She's pretty average-ish in weight. Her favorites are pearl white or yellow for color, milk for drinks, and plums for food.
  • Speaking of food, she is a veeeeery picky eater. She won't eat most fruit unless they're plums, apricots, peaches, and such fruit like that. She'll eat any vegetable and dairy, including in soup. However, she is not a meat eater, not even for lean chicken breast. However, she will splurge with greasy food a little when it comes to french fries/potato dishes at all, really. Even potato chips. She probably doesn't do so without feeling shameful, though. |D; Plus her metabolism isn't at ALL fast, so she has to be quite careful with her diet or she'll plump.
  • Fighting! She exhausts very easily in fights, unfortunately. Her attack power is pretty great, admittedly, as long as she has her Star Stick with her (the wand she's seen wielding in-game), which is slightly magic-infused. Her defense and speed aren't good at all, though, unfortunately. ): She has to really try to avoid hits from opponents to make it through fights.
  • The creatures in the Moon section of her homeland are called 'Payapaya' (so says the official site). She has quite a few of them back home, and later in the RP, she may bring one to the school as an NPC. May.
  • She really aspires to be a teacher at the school one day. When she graduates, she's more than willing to take up Literature or English class if neither of them are taken.
  • She likes rambling sometimes. BD; Wall of text wall of text. She does love conversation and going on about things.
  • She's TERRIFIEEEEED of water. She cannot swim at all and can't even keep herself afloat. She's also quite afraid of reptiles and bugs and any of those gross creepy crawlies.
  • She will probably quite like girly and feminine things like manicures/pedicures, sleepovers, and all sorts of things like that.
  • Activity and the sunlight! She's not a big fan of vigorous activity (unlike the way she was in her childhood) or using a lot of energy at one time (even in demeanor, for she's never really near hyper at all, if not quite the talker). Sports is probably gonna be quite 'blech' to her unless it's something easy on her like golf or something. She doesn't really have much energy to spare anyway, and she gets fatigued very easily. ): She's been under moonlight and living under it for her WHOLE LIFE, nor did her mother let her play in the sun at all as a child, so she's really not a sun person. She probably actually takes parasols out with her when she goes outside. She also burns and doesn't tan, and when she burns, she burns FAST.
  • She also frequently gets colds. |D; Not TOO frequently, but probably once every three-ish months.
