You want to join SBG but you've never participated in a LiveJournal? RPG before? No worries, we've got you covered! There are a couple of guidelines and some help for you here to help you with the application process and some basics of LiveJournal? RPing.

• Read The Rules. Did you read them? Read them again. Even if you've applied at sixteen other roleplays before this one, make sure you read the rules and know them.

• Did you read the rules? OK. Awesome. Make sure you check the Character Journals List to make sure the character you want to apply as doesn't appear anywhere on that list.

• If the character you want to apply as doesn't show up on the list, make sure that you check the Game/Series Canon.

• Unsure of how to play the character you want to app? That's partly what the Dressing Room is for!

• Did you do all that? ALL RIGHT. Now, head over to the most recent application post to apply! (Not going to be here for a while? Worried that someone else might snag your character? Place a reserve on him! Reserves last two weeks and they mean that your application can be posted anytime within that time frame. During those two weeks, nobody else can apply for that character, and your application will be among the first reviewed. After your reserve runs out, though, the character is fair game again and anybody can apply as him.)

• Teacher or student? Copy the HTML provided for the type of character you're apping and paste it into the word processor of your choice.

• OKAY HERE COMES THE FUN PART. Fill out your app! Here are a couple of good examples. Your application can be as short or as long as you want it to be; have fun with it! Just make sure you get all of your information in there and you're good to go!

• And here comes the hard part: Waiting. Sometimes we're right on top of it, but other times we won't get to your app right away. We've got lives, too, you know. D: We'll get to your application as soon as possible, promise! You need approvals from two different mods before you're officially accepted.

• DID YOU GET IN? AWESOME. Now, go make a new LJ account for your character! (Finding icons can be hard sometimes; don't worry about filling all your icons slots as soon as you set up an account.)

• Make sure you follow all of the guidelines in your acception notice and post a reply to it with your character journal within two days, otherwise it'll be like you never applied in the first place.

• The same goes with making your first character journal. If it isn't done within a week, your character will be fair game again.

• Introduce yourself to the main community! Jump in the AIM chat! We don't bite (much).

• Profit!

• App 3 more characters because you like the game so much, curse the creators.
