Personality:
Nyx is, in short, a troublemaker. One could save themselves the trouble of trying, and just dismiss her as a prankster, but the truth is....
Well, in all honesty, that is the truth.
Nyx loves jokes, pranks, anything that she can get a laugh out of- unfortunately, for the most part, this is made at the other's expense- half of the fun is their reactions.
She can be extremely easy to get along with, or so hard to stand, one can barely deal with a minute in her presence. It all depends on the person.
Overall, unless she ha a reason to dislike someone, even through her somewhat cruel jokes and sense of humor, she is relatively friendly.

Relations with Other Characters
Thus far, Nyx has had surprisingly good interaction with other characters, so far landing her with a sizeable amount of friends, an extremely high chance of getting a laugh out of every situation, and a boyfriend.
Surprise surprise.
Among her friends, she counts Arcanine, Jolteon, Charizard, Ganondorf, Knuckles, Rawk Hawk, Dimentio, and, more recently, Jeff.
She doesn'treally have anyone she counts as an enemy, but she has a slight dislike for anyone who can't find the time to laugh at a joke, or even react in a particularly interesting way. Boring people suck.
Nyx is dating Charmeleon.

Backstory:
Nyx grew up in Pokemon Tower of Lavender town, along with countless other ghosts of pokemon just as 'playful' as she is, and townsfolk used to antics like the ones she is so proud of. Because of this, life got real boring to her, real fast- she became predictable, or every birllian new plan had been thought of before...
Until a passing trainer mentioned something about this school, in 'Final Destination City', some place she'd never heard of... but she hardly heard the name anyways. It was drowned out by her thoughts- "there's a sucker born each minute". Nyx beleived that this school would wind up being the embodiment of that saying...
And was packing her bags before she knew it.
that was when she was 14, her Freshman year.

She evolved into a Haunter earlier this year.

Canon Information
Nyx has had relatively little to do with, as far as canon events are concerned.
She helped the dorm raidings, and attended the hot Springs of Youth trip, but has yet to do much of real interest.

Other Information:

• Nyx, originally, really hated her human form. I suppose she still does, but she still uses is more often than not for easiness' sake.
• She's a little hesitant to show this off, but Nyx is a pretty good dancer- knowing how to move one's body as a floating ball of gas tends to lend towards a little bit of flexibleness as a human. The only times she's shown this so far have been in dancing class and while invading Mei Ling's Telecomm. class with 'The Internet is for Porn'.
